Ingredients

  • 1 kg flour
  • 400 g cheese (butter cheese)
  • 3 onion (s), peeled
  • 1 packet yeast (dry yeast)
  • 600 ml water, lukewarm
  • salt and pepper
  • thyme
  • dill
  • oregano
  • herbs Provence
  • garlic

Instructions

  1. Cut the butter cheese and onions into cubes.
  2. Put the flour, cheese, onions, dry yeast and water in a large bowl and knead everything well. Season to taste with salt, pepper, thyme, dill, oregano, herbs of Provence and garlic as desired. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  3. Then shape the dough into a loaf of bread and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 150 ° C for approx. 1 hour.
  5. Goes well with a salad or just in between.
