Ingredients

  • 1 port. Puff pastry for a baking sheet
  • 380 g cheese (e.. Emmentaler, Gruyere, Appenzeller, Fontina)
  • 150 g bacon, diced
  • 2 large onions, finely sliced
  • 180 g natural yourt (low-fat yourt)
  • 2 tablespoon, leveled flour
  • 2 small egg (s)
  • 150 ml milk
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • nutmeg
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 ° C fan oven.
  2. Sauté the onion strips together with the bacon cubes without fat, then leave to cool.
  3. Grate the cheese with a hash brown or cut into small cubes. Mix together with the yogurt, flour, eggs, milk and sour cream. Add the cooled onion and bacon mixture. Mix well and season as needed.
  4. Place the puff pastry on a baking sheet (approx. 39 cm x 22 cm) and prick several times with a fork. Now distribute the cheese mixture on top.
  5. Bake the flan in the preheated oven on the lowest groove for about 25 minutes (if the cheese topping is too dark, cover with aluminum foil).
  6. Let cool slightly and serve with a mixed salad.
  7. Variation 1: sauté the grated carrots with the onions and diced bacon.
  8. Option 2: Instead of onions, cut the leek into thin rings and sauté.
  9. Variant 3: Cut the bell pepper into fine strips, sauté briefly and mix in.
