Cheese Sandwiches

These flavorful sandwiches with a golden crust are grilled. Hot cheese sandwiches are served.

Ingredients

  • Baguette (cut in half lengthwise) – 1 pc.
  • Parmesan cheese (shredded on a grater) – 0.25 cups
  • Mozzarella cheese, small balls – 120 g (about 0.5 cups)
  • Butter – 8 tbsp
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) – 0.25 cups
  • Garlic (finely chopped) – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano – 0.5 teaspoon

How to make cheese sandwiches:

Directions

  1. Turn on the grill to preheat to the minimum temperature.
  2. In a bowl, combine butter, parsley, garlic, salt, and oregano.
  3. Lubricate baguette slices with an oil mixture. Sprinkle Parmesan on two baguette halves and top with mozzarella.
  4. Place the baguette on the foil-lined grill. Fry the baguette until the cheese is melted 10 minutes. Cut the baguette into pieces and serve the cheese sandwiches immediately.
