Ingredients

  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 bell peppers, red and yellow
  • 50 g butter, or mararine
  • 20 g flour
  • 0.5 liter ½ broth
  • 2 cups processed cheese with herbs
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • salt
  • Paprika powder
  • Chili powder

Instructions

  1. Finely dice the onion, crush the garlic, cut the paprika into fine strips, sauté in a pan with butter until translucent. Take out the vegetables and keep warm.
  2. Steam the flour in the fat, deglaze with half of the broth. Add the cheese and stir until smooth. Pour in the rest of the broth and bring to the boil briefly. Then stir in the crème fraîche and season the soup with spices. Finally fold in the pepper strips.
  3. The soup is very popular with everyone. We always have 1st course on special occasions
  4. or as midnight soup at celebrations.
