Instructions

1. Cook the spaetzle according to the instructions on the packet. Chop the onions and fry them with the mushrooms, add the spaetzle. Beat and fold in the cream, fold in the grated cheese and let it melt. Serve sprinkled with chives.
2. I serve with a fresh leaf salad.
3. Homemade spaetzle and fresh mushrooms are particularly good. Low-fat cream substitutes are just as suitable as whipped cream. If you don`t like it that hearty, you can replace the mountain cheese with Gouda.
