Ingredients

  • 100 g Kat ham, diced
  • 2 onion (s), diced
  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 4 slices processed cheese, 20%
  • 500 ml milk, low-fat, 1.5% fat
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the diced onions and ham, and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions soften.
  2. Add the spaetzle and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring gently to combine.
  3. Pour in the milk and bring to a boil over medium-high heat, about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the processed cheese slices and stir constantly until melted and the sauce reaches your desired thickness, about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
