Instructions

  1. Work the egg yolks, flour, butter and cheese into a firm dough. Wrapped in foil, leave to rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  2. Shape the dough into a roll with a diameter of approx. 6 cm on a floured work surface. Cut the roll into about 35 slices and carefully distribute on two baking sheets lined with baking paper. Whisk the egg white with 1 tablespoon of water and brush the thalers with it. Scatter the sesame seeds on top and bake in the oven preheated to 200 ° C for about 10-12 minutes.
  3. A dip made from sour cream or salsa dip with tomatoes goes well with it.
