Ingredients

  • 250 g pumpernickel
  • 250 ml cream
  • 1 cup liqueur, (cherry liqueur)
  • 250 g cherry (s), pitted (fresh or canned
  • some chocolate flakes

Instructions

  1. Coarsely grate the pumpernickel and mix with the liqueur. Let it steep for about 1 hour. Whip the whipped cream until stiff.
  2. Layer the pumpernickel, cherries and cream alternately in a tall bowl. Finally, pour a layer of cream on top.
  3. Sprinkle with chocolate flakes and place in the refrigerator about 1 hour before serving.
