Ingredients

  • 375 g cherry (s)
  • 50 grams sugar
  • some cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice and zest, untreated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Wash and core the cherries. Boil in 3/4 L water with added sugar, a pinch of cinnamon, lemon juice and a piece of lemon peel until soft.
  2. With cornstarch mixed in 1 tablespoon of water, make it slightly creamy
  3. TIP:
  4. The soup can be served warm or cold. Snow dumplings, for example, are suitable as an insert.
  5. VARIATION:
  6. The cherries can be replaced with other fresh fruit, e.g. apples, pears, plums, berries, rhubarb.
