Chicken and Cheese Meatballs

I always have minced meat at my side, just in case. It can be used to make a simple dish that will appeal to both children and adults. Have you already guessed which one? If not yet, read the recipe!

Ingredients

  • Chicken mince – 500 grams
  • Breadcrumbs – 50 Grams
  • Shallots – 1 Piece
  • Egg – 1 Piece
  • Olive Oil – 60 Milliliters
  • Sauce “Marinara” – 720 Milliliters
  • Mozzarella – 200 Grams
  • Parmesan – 25 Grams
  • Parsley, twig – 1 Piece
  • Italian herbs – 1 tablespoon. spoon (dried)
  • Garlic – 2 Cloves
  • Salt – 1 Pinch
  • Ground black pepper – 0.5 Teaspoons

Directions

  1. Make minced meat. Chop the parsley finely, mix it with grated parmesan, herbs, minced meat, eggs and chopped garlic and onions.
  2. Also add crackers, salt and pepper, mix everything thoroughly.
  3. Then form meatballs from the minced meat.
  4. Then heat the oil in a large skillet (preferably cast iron). Fry the meatballs in it until golden brown for a couple of minutes.
  5. Then empty the pan. Pour the sauce into it, and then add the meat balls again.
  6. Rub the cheese on top.
  7. Bake the meatballs for 15 minutes at 200 degrees.
