Ingredients

  • 40 g sesame seeds, toasted
  • 400 g chicken, minced in a food processor or meat rinder
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 60 g cheddar cheese, rated
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the toasted sesame seeds, minced chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, grated cheddar cheese, salt and pepper. Mix with your hands until combined. Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each into a ball.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken balls in batches, cooking for 3 minutes on each side until cooked through (chicken should reach 74 °C / 165 °F internally).
  3. Serve the chicken balls hot with chilli dip, ketchup, and a fresh salad.
