Chicken Kebab Ingredients

  • Chicken breast – 1 pc.
  • Sweet red pepper – 1 pc.
  • Sweet yellow pepper – 1 pc.
  • Small onion – 2 pcs.
  • Feta cheese – 55 g
  • Sesame oil – 1 teaspoon
  • Curry paste – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce – 1-2 tbsp
  • Skim milk – 150-200 ml
  • Lemon juice – 100-150 ml
  • Chopped parsley – 1-2 tbsp
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Chicken Kebab Instructions

  1. Cut 1 chicken breast into strips.
  2. In a bowl, combine 100-150 ml lemon juice and 1-2 tbsp soy sauce, season with salt and pepper, and stir until combined.
  3. Place the chicken strips in the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Slice the feta cheese.
  5. Heat 150-200 ml skim milk to 80°C / 175°F, add the cheese, and stir constantly until dissolved.
  6. Add 0.5 teaspoon curry paste and stir until combined.
  7. Stir in 1-2 tbsp chopped parsley, then set the sauce aside.
  8. Wash the red and yellow peppers and remove the seeds, then cut the peppers and 2 small onions into large chunks.
  9. Thread the skewers, alternating: pepper piece, chicken strip, onion piece.
  10. Heat 1 teaspoon sesame oil in a grill pan over medium heat.
  11. Place the skewers in the pan and grill for 6-8 minutes until the chicken reaches 74°C / 165°F internally.
  12. Flip the skewers and grill the other side for 4-6 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  13. Pour the cheese sauce over the skewers when serving.
