Ingredients

  • 2 chicken legs
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 1 teaspoon sugar, brown
  • 250 g cherry tomato (s)
  • thyme
  • pepper
  • basil

Instructions

  1. Wash and pat dry the chicken legs. Season with paprika (no salt).
  2. Place the chicken on a lightly oiled baking dish and roast in a preheated oven at 220°C (428°F) for 40 minutes.
  3. Mix the balsamic vinegar, paprika, and brown sugar in a small bowl.
  4. While the chicken roasts, wash the cherry tomatoes, score them crosswise, and season with thyme and basil.
  5. Brush the chicken legs with the balsamic mixture every 10-15 minutes during the 40 minutes of roasting.
  6. After 20 minutes of roasting, add the seasoned cherry tomatoes to the baking dish and continue roasting for the remaining 20 minutes.
  7. The chicken is done when the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
