Ingredients

  • 1 chicken, 000-300 g
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 slices lemon (s)
  • 0.25 liter ¼ white wine
  • Potato (s), according to the number people
  • salt and pepper
  • Margarine for frying
  • Paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions

  1. Heat margarine in a large pot over medium-high heat. Crush the 3 garlic cloves and add to the pot. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika powder. Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Add the 3 lemon slices and 2 bay leaves.
  2. Reduce heat to medium. Cook the chicken for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the raw, quartered potatoes (according to the number of people serving).
  4. Pour 250 ml of white wine into the pot to deglaze. Continue cooking uncovered for 10-15 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 74°C (165°F) and the potatoes are tender.
