Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the chicken breast fillets, then cut into cubes.
  2. Peel the garlic clove and squeeze it into a bowl.
  3. Add 4 tablespoons of oil, lemon juice, and curry to the bowl. Stir for about 1 minute until combined.
  4. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, mix well, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. Clean the red and green bell peppers and cut into pieces roughly the same size as the chicken cubes.
  6. Peel the onions and cut each into eighths.
  7. Remove the chicken cubes from the marinade and wrap each piece in ½ slice of bacon.
  8. Thread the skewers by alternating 3 pieces of chicken with pieces of bell pepper and onion on each skewer.
  9. Season the skewers generously with salt and black pepper.
  10. Heat the remaining 3 tablespoons of oil in a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature 74 °C / 165 °F). Alternatively, grill them on a medium-high heat grill for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until done.
