Ingredients

  • 1 cup double cream cheese
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), e.g., Goronong
  • sea-salt
  • pepper from the grinder
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. Halve and core the chilli pepper and remove the partitions. First cut the chilli into Julienne strips and then dice. Mix with the cream cheese, add about 1/2 teaspoon sea salt and ground pepper and mix with a fork. Add a little olive oil and continue to mix with a fork for about 2 - 3 minutes.
  2. At the end, smooth the mixture with a damp teaspoon and add a few drops of olive oil. Let it steep in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours.
  3. Is a great spread or simply as a dip for vegetable strips or tapas.
