Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • 2 chilli pepper (s)
  • 1 ½ clove (s) garlic
  • 1 lemon (s)
  • 1 tablespoon, leveled honey
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • some pepper
  • a bit salt

Instructions

  1. Mix the zest of the whole lemon, the juice of half a lemon, the finely chopped and pitted chillies and all the other ingredients with the butter. I always crush the garlic with a little salt and a fork. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

  3. Instead of the chillies, I`ve also used red and green jalapeños. If necessary, the desired spiciness can be controlled by adding more chilli powder.
  4. This butter can also be frozen in jars.
