Instructions

  1. Put the milk and 200 ml cream in a saucepan and add the chocolate in pieces. Whether milk or dark chocolate is up to you.
  2. Add 4 tablespoons of sugar and bring to the boil, stirring constantly. The chocolate melts by itself.
  3. Mix the remaining 200 ml cream, egg yolk and cornstarch well in a shaker.
  4. When the milk boils, remove the pan from the heat and stir in the cream, egg yolk and starch mixture vigorously.
  5. Put everything on the stove again and let it boil briefly.
  6. Finally, place the pudding in dessert bowls or in a bowl and refrigerate for a few hours. But also tastes very good warm!

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
