Ingredients

  • 4 pork chop (s)
  • 250 g mushrooms, sliced (frozen)
  • 50 ml Madeira
  • 50 ml cream
  • 2 tablespoon margarine
  • 125 ml meat stock
  • Salt and pepper, whiter
  • parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat the margarine in a pan and fry the chops rubbed with salt and pepper for 4 minutes on each side. Add mushrooms, meat stock and Madeira and let simmer in a closed pan for 10 minutes.
  2. Arrange the chops on a preheated deep platter and keep them warm.
  3. Stir the cream into the sauce and let the sauce boil down for 5 minutes. Season to taste, add to the chops and serve garnished with chopped parsley.
  4. Serve with mashed potatoes or boiled potatoes.
