Chops With Prunes and Mushrooms

Beef chops with prunes, mushrooms, nuts and cheese prepared according to this recipe will surely please your family and friends. This meat dish is perfect for a festive table.

Ingredients

  • Beef (pulp, preferably tenderloin) – 300 g
  • Prunes (pitted) – 100 g
  • Champignon mushrooms – 150 g
  • Bulb onions (small) – 1 pc.
  • Walnuts – 30 g
  • Hard cheese – 100 g
  • Vegetable oil – 30 ml
  • Mayonnaise – 1-2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare the necessary foods for beef chops with prunes and mushrooms.
  2. Pour prunes with hot water for 15-20 minutes
  3. Cut the mushrooms into slices.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the mushrooms in it. Season the mushrooms.
  5. Peel the onions and cut into half rings. When the liquid from the mushrooms has evaporated, add the onion to the mushrooms and fry the mushrooms and onions for a few more minutes, until golden brown.
  6. Cut the beef pulp (without films and veins) into layers 1-1.5 cm thick and beat well. Season the beef chops with salt and pepper.
  7. Put the prunes on the meat, sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
  8. Then put the mushrooms and onions on the chops with prunes and nuts.
  9. Apply a mayonnaise mesh.
  10. Grate the cheese on a fine grater and sprinkle the chops on top.
  11. Gently transfer the prunes, mushrooms, and cheese chops to a tin or foil-lined baking sheet. (All actions with the filling are best done immediately in a baking dish, putting the beaten meat in it.) Bake the beef chops with prunes and mushrooms in a preheated oven at 180-190 degrees for about 30 minutes. You can cover the chops in the oven with foil, and to brown the cheese, remove the foil 10 minutes before the end of baking. You can also sprinkle the chops with cheese halfway through the baking process.
  12. Garnish the prune and mushroom chops to your liking and serve the beef chops hot.  Bon appetit
