Ingredients

  • 200 g hazelnuts, whole
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 100 g butter or mararine
  • 400 g suar
  • 1 tablespoon gingerbread spice
  • 200 g almond (s), round
  • 500g flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs, soft fat and sugar until frothy. Add gingerbread spice, ground almonds and flour. Finally add whole hazelnuts.
  2. Shape the dough into long rolls, approx. 2 cm wide.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, fan-assisted 160 degrees. Place the rolls of dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for 18-20 minutes.
  4. Take the rolling pin out of the oven and cut into 1 cm thick slices with a sharp knife.
  5. Place the dough slices next to each other flat on the baking sheet and continue to bake at the same temperature until the biscuits are hard and dry
