Ingredients

  • 1 liter wine, red, fruity
  • 0.75 liters ¾ water
  • 200 g plums (prunes)
  • 0.25 liter ¼ rum
  • 2 lemon (s), including the juice
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 2 bags tea, black
  • 5 clove (s)
  • 0.5 liter ½ orange juice, freshly squeezed

Instructions

  1. Bring the water and prunes to the boil briefly, add the tea bags and let stand for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and blend all liquid. Add the cinnamon sticks and cloves (in a tea egg). Add the remaining ingredients as well. Do not bring to the boil any more, just warm them on a low heat. (keep warm)
  2. Tip: Of course, the Christmas cookies and especially the Kletzenbrot go well with this.
