Ingredients
- 250 g butter
- 200 g suar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 6 egg (s)
- 250 g flour
- 1 point baking powder
- 120 g almond (s), round
- 125 ml red wine
- 4 tablespoon orange juice
- 2 tablespoon rum
- 1 packet aroma, (finesse orange aroma)
- 200 g marzipan, diced
For decoration:
- Chocolate cake icing
- Marzipan - asterisks

- Mix the butter with the sifted sugar, vanilla sugar, rum and orange flavor until frothy. Stir in the egg yolks one at a time. Mix and add red wine, orange juice and liquid vanilla flavor.
- Beat egg whites into snow. Mix flour with baking powder, sieve and mix with ground almonds. Mix alternately with the egg whites under the yolk mixture and stir in gently.
- Turn the chilled, diced marzipan lightly in the flour and mix into the dough.
- Pour the dough into a buttered, floured Gugelhupf tin and bake in the preheated oven at 175 ° C for about 60 minutes. If necessary, cover with foil after three quarters of the baking time. Let the Gugelhupf cool down and turn it out.
- Cover with chocolate glaze and decorate with marzipan stars.
