Ingredients

  • 2 cod fillet (s) approx. 150 - 00 g
  • 1 large vegetable onion (s)
  • 3 large beefsteak tomato (s)
  • 50 ml white wine, drier
  • 100 ml cream
  • Olive oil for the mold
  • Flakes butter
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs (e.g. thyme, dill, lemon thyme etc.), fresh
  • 75 g cheese, rated

For the side dish:

  • 6 medium potato (s)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (356°F).
  2. Brush a baking dish with olive oil.
  3. Slice the tomatoes and onion, then layer them on the bottom of the baking dish.
  4. Season the cod fillets with salt and pepper and place them on top of the tomato and onion layer.
  5. Add another layer of sliced tomatoes, onion, and fresh herbs on top of the cod.
  6. Pour the white wine and cream over everything, then dot with butter flakes.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily.
  8. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake for another 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
