Cod Liver Sandwiches

The quick and delicious cod liver sandwiches are a great snack on the festive table.

Ingredients

  • Cod liver – 1 jar
  • Boiled eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Mayonnaise – 50 g
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Green onions – 3 pcs.
  • Bread – 0.5 rolls

Directions

  1. Cut the bread into slices.
  2. Fry the bread in a frying pan for 2 minutes on each side.
  3. Mash the cod liver with a fork in a suitable bowl, grate the boiled eggs on a fine grater.
  4. Add ground pepper and mayonnaise, mix.
  5. Chop green onions finely.
  6. Spread the mixture on the bread. Place the cod liver sandwiches on a platter and sprinkle with green onions.
