Ingredients

  • Coffee, stronger
  • Orange liqueur or cognac
  • little sugar
  • Orange (n), thinly peeled peel
  • Whipped cream, moderately sweetened

Instructions

  1. Fill each cup 3/4 full with strong coffee. Add a few pieces of fresh peel of an unsprayed orange, add a dash of liqueur or cognac and put the icing on the coffee.
  2. Serve with a slice of orange for guests.
  3. If you like, you can also squeeze the orange and add a little juice to the coffee - then you shouldn`t add orange liqueur, but cognac, otherwise it will simply be too “orange”.
  4. In the original, the hint of orange flavor reaches through the bowls and it is seasoned with cognac - the idea with the orange liqueur only came up when the corresponding liqueur advertised orange with the recipe for coffee.
  5. Maybe just experiment with the more discreet original recipe.
