Instructions

  1. Scald tomatoes briefly with hot water until the skin bursts and then peel them. Chop the tomatoes into large pieces and place in a tall container. Finely chop the garlic cloves and add to the tomatoes with the olive oil. Add chopped basil leaves, sugar, salt, pepper and mix briefly with the hand blender so that the ingredients are just mixed. The sauce can be a bit chunky.
  2. Mix the seasoned sauce with the scorching hot spaghettini and serve immediately.
  3. With this sauce, it is very important that the tomatoes are fully ripe and of good quality. The olive oil should also be of good quality, because this is the only way to guarantee a good taste.

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
