Ingredients

  • 1 sachet rice
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 can peas
  • 2 carrot (s)
  • 2 small onion (s) (red and white are best, but also work)
  • 4 mushrooms
  • 3 bell peppers, red, green and yellow
  • 2 tomato (s) (alternatively 6 cherry tomatoes)
  • 400 g cheese (Gouda, alternatively 1 packet feta cheese)
  • vinegar
  • oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil rice, quench and chill. Drain the corn and peas, clean the carrots, mushrooms and peppers, cut into small cubes and place in a bowl. Add corn and peas, diced onions and tomatoes. Mix with the rice. Also dice the Gouda and mix well.
  2. Mix a dressing from vinegar, oil, salt and pepper and use it to marinate the salad well. Let the salad stand for about 1 hour, stirring in the meantime.
  3. Tip: This salad can be supplemented with any other ingredients, such as cucumbers or radishes.
