Ingredients

  • 300 ml water
  • 150 ml milk
  • 2 tablespoon corn oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 560 g wheat flour, 1050 or half 405 and half whole wheat flour
  • 200 g corn flour, or corn rits, will then be a bit dry
  • 1 pack dry yeast

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients in the bread maker in the order shown. The recipe is designed for 5 servings for 1250 g. If you want a 1000 bread, it can be converted to 4, with 750 g to 3 servings. Just before baking, you can brush the bread with water and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of corn flour or semolina over it. Is a rather neutral bread. In my opinion it tastes sweet and savory.
