Ingredients

  • 1 vegetable onion (s), finely diced
  • 2 cans maize (each weighing 80g), drained
  • 1 bunch chives, cut into fine rings
  • 100 g sweet cream
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar, (herb vinegar)
  • 1 tablespoon mustard, hot
  • 2 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 clove (s) garlic, pressed
  • 1 pinch (s) sugar
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix the onion pieces well with the drained corn in a bowl. Sprinkle the ingredients with the chives.
  2. For the dressing, whip the cream with the vinegar, mustard, garlic and mayonnaise until frothy. Season to taste with sugar, salt and a little pepper. Now pour everything over the salad ingredients and mix well. Let it soak in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes and season again briefly to taste.

  4. Fits great for grilling and any hearty meat or minced meat dishes (pork roast, pork knuckle, ribs, meatballs, meat loaf, etc.). Can also be done quickly and easily when camping.
