Instructions

  1. Cut the onion into very small cubes. In a saucepan, sauté the onion and garlic with a little oil until translucent. Take the pot with the onions off the stove. Add the couscous, hot vegetable stock, eggs, parsley, pepper to the onions and mix everything well. Let the mass swell for 5 minutes. Form patties out of them and fry on both sides in the pan.
  2. Makes about 10 pieces.
  3. Tip:
  4. If the couscous mixture is too runny, it can be thickened with breadcrumbs.
  5. Variants:
  6. The patties can be seasoned as desired. The basic patty consists of couscous, vegetable broth and egg. Onion, garlic, herbs and other spices can be used as desired, so that the patties always taste a little different.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
