Ingredients

  • 0.5 ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ celery seeds
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ salt
  • 3 cup white cabbage, grated (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup red cabbage (if not available, replace it with white cabbage), grated
  • 1 cup carrot (s), grated
  • 0.25 ¼ cup spring onion (s), finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, celery seeds (these are not absolutely necessary) and salt together well in a bowl.
  2. In a large, sealable bowl, mix the white cabbage, red cabbage, carrots and spring onions together. Stir in the mayonnaise mix.
  3. Cover and chill for 2 - 24 hours.
