Ingredients

  • 400 g mushrooms
  • 1 onion (s), possibly a little more
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoon oil, for frying
  • a bit salt
  • some black pepper from the mill
  • 4 slices toast, preferably whole grain
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ thyme, dried
  • 2 tablespoon sour cream, possibly a little more
  • some vegetable stock, granulated to taste
  • possibly white wine

Instructions

  1. Clean the mushrooms and halve or quarter depending on the size.
  2. Peel and chop the onion and clove of garlic.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion with the garlic.
  4. Add the mushrooms and fry for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Let the mushroom brew that has leaked out on a high flame reduce (this saves artificial thickening and increases the mushroom aroma).
  6. Season the mushrooms with granular broth as needed. Add thyme and sour cream and stir.
  7. Roast slices of toast, place on preheated plates and pour mushrooms over them.
  8. Tip: If you want, you can add some white wine to the mushrooms and let it cook.
