Crispy Shells

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, sugar, and salt well in a bowl, then add the water and butter. Put the dough in a cool place for approx. 1 hour.
  2. Place 1 tablespoon of dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper and spread out into a circle with a 10 cm diameter. Bake in the oven preheated to 170 degrees for about 8 minutes until the dough is golden brown. Take out and immediately place over upturned coffee cups, allow to cool.
  3. These crispy shells can be prepared well and can be kept in a can in a cool and dry place for about 1 week. The nut parfait from my profile can be served in these bowls, for example. Any other ice cream too, of course.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
