Curd Donuts-2

Curd Donuts-2 Instructions

  1. Mix together cottage cheese, egg, and sugar.
  2. Add flour and baking powder. Knead a homogeneous, not too sticky dough (if the curd is wet, you may need more flour).
  3. Divide the dough in two, roll into “sausages” and cut into small pieces.
  4. Roll into balls the size of a walnut from the pieces of dough.
  5. In a saucepan, stewpan, or deep skillet, heat so much vegetable oil over medium heat so that the donuts are completely immersed in it. Spread the curd donuts in the heated oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, turning them constantly.
  6. Put the finished curd donuts on paper towels to drain excess oil, cool, and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Bon Appetit!

Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
