Instructions

  1. Puree the currants, if you don`t like seeds, you should pass the puree through a sieve. Mix the juice with the milk, whisk sugar and cornstarch with part of the milk mixture until both have completely dissolved.
  2. Meanwhile, warm up the remaining part of the juice-milk mixture and stir in the starch with the whisk. Bring everything to the boil and remove from the stove.
  3. Pour the pudding into cold rinsed dessert glasses or bowls and cover if you don`t like skin. You can garnish it with cream and fruit or chocolate chips.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
