Ingredients

  • 600 g white cabbae, (cleaned, quartered, sliced into fine strips)
  • 2 tablespoon lard, (crackling lard)
  • 1 onion (s), (finely chopped)
  • 125 ml water
  • 125 ml vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoon parsley, (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon, leveled sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • some cumin

Instructions

  1. Heat the lard in a saucepan and stew the cabbage for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a bowl.
  2. Prepare a marinade from the remaining ingredients and pour over the cabbage.
  3. Mix carefully and let it steep for a day in the refrigerator.
