Instructions

  1. Squeeze the juice of 2 limes, cut the third into slices. Peel the ginger and cut into pieces. Wash the mint and shake dry.
  2. Put the sugar with the lime juice, the ginger and some lime pieces and some mint leaves in a jug / container and mix with a little water, approx. 100 ml. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for several hours and stir occasionally until a syrup has formed.
  3. To serve, fill 4 glasses (preserving jars look great) three-quarters of the way with ice cubes. Mix the syrup 1: 3 with mineral water and pour over the ice cubes. Decorate with more lime slices, the mint stalks and pomegranate seeds (cut open the pomegranate and knock out the stones) and serve with a thick straw.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
