• 2 tablespoon honey, possibly more for sour apples
• 3 tablespoon cinnamon
• some liqueur (Dornfelder-), or wine
• 1 kg apples
• Hazelnuts, chopped
• Raisins

Instructions

1. Peel and dice the apples. Put in a saucepan and fry or heat on the highest level. Add cinnamon and honey, mix. Deglaze with a little liqueur or wine when everything starts to steam and simmer. Then reduce until there is hardly any liquid left. Caution: It must not be porridge.
2. Fill into portion bowls. Just before serving, add the hazelnuts and raisins and mix. If you do this too early, everything tastes the same.
