Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° (convection 160 °). Grease a 12-cavity muffin tin and place in the freezer, or put 12 paper liners on a baking sheet.
  2. Cut the chocolate bars into small pieces. Put the flour in a bowl and mix carefully with the cinnamon or vanilla, baking powder, baking soda and the chocolate chips.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the egg lightly. Add the sugar, oil and buttermilk and stir well.
  4. Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and stir only until the dry ingredients are also moist.
  5. Pour the batter into the tray or the baking molds so that the molds are full. Bake in the oven (center) for about 15 minutes. Let the muffins rest in the baking sheet for about 5 minutes, then remove them and let them cool on a wire rack.
  6. Chop the couverture into pieces and melt in a hot water bath while stirring. Dip the muffins in the couverture and let it dry a little. Decorate with sweets if you like.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
