Ingredients

  • 400 g tomato (s), dried
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt, coarse
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon mint, dried
  • 0.5 liter ½ oil

Instructions

  1. Grind the mint in a mortar, add sugar and salt, mix everything well.
  2. Layer the tomatoes in a glass, repeatedly adding a little of the spice mixture in between.
  3. Fill everything up with oil. The tomatoes must be covered with a layer of oil.
  4. The oil can be sieved afterwards and used for salads.
  5. Tastes good with wine, cheese, salami, pasta, risotto
