Instructions

  1. Cut bread or rolls into small cubes and place in a bowl. Heat the milk (do not boil) and pour it over the bread cubes. Let it steep for about 5 minutes. Stir in the eggs, mix in the finely chopped onion, add a little flour and salt and pepper as desired. Form dumplings of the same size from the mass. This is best done with wet hands.
  2. Put the dumplings in boiling salted water. Reduce the temperature a little and simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Take the dumplings out of the pot, cut them into pieces and fry them in a large pan with a little oil. Whisk the remaining eggs and pour over the dumplings and stir until the eggs set.
  4. Tastes great with a dash of pumpkin seed oil and a green salad.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
