Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • 125 g suar
  • 2 packs vanilla sugar
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 250 g flour
  • 150 g cornstarch

For the filling:

  • Jam (red currant jam)

Instructions

  1. Beat the butter until frothy. Add sugar and vanilla sugar. Mix in the eggs and yolks. Carefully mix in the flour and cornstarch. Process everything into a smooth shortcrust pastry.
  2. Pour the dough into a piping bag and sprinkle small wreaths on a prepared baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes at 190 degrees.
  3. After cooling, spread one wreath with jam and glue together with a second wreath.
