Ingredients

  • 2 packs spinach leaves, frozen (450 g each)
  • 1 tablespoon oil, neutral
  • 1 large onion (s), finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 100 g sour cream
  • Chilli powder
  • salt
  • nutmeg
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 500 g meat loaf / meat loaf

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large, non-stick pan and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  2. Add the frozen spinach, deglaze with 200 ml water and cover and defrost.
  3. Stir in the sour cream and season with salt, pepper and chilli to taste. If you like, you can also add a pinch of nutmeg.
  4. Make a well in the spinach with a spoon for each egg and slide the eggs into it one at a time.
  5. Cover and let stand for 10 to 20 minutes.
  6. Heat the meat loaf / meat loaf in the oven, cut into 4 slices and serve with the spinach and eggs.
