  • Salted herring, fillet – 120 g
  • Processed cheese – 2 tbsp
  • Butter (softened) – 1.5 tbsp
  • Mustard – 0.5 teaspoon

  1. Prepare foods from the list. Boil the eggs hard-boiled in advance (8 minutes after boiling) and cool in cold water.

  2. Pass the herring fillet twice through a meat grinder. Be scrupulous – remove the bones from the fillets if necessary.
  3. Add melted cheese and melted butter to the herring.
  4. Add mustard to enhance the flavor.
  5. Cut the peeled boiled eggs in half lengthwise, remove the yolks.
  6. Grind the herring, cream cheese, butter, mustard and yolks until smooth and creamy. Fill the wells in the egg whites with the fish filling.
