Instructions

  1. Shake out the elderflower, add the flowers with the small stems to the light-colored fruit juice (light-colored juices can also be mixed) and leave to stand overnight, covered.
  2. Strain the next day, e.g. line a vegetable sieve with a kitchen roll and let it drain. Pour the elderflower juice into a glass carafe, cover.
  3. This juice can be drunk with or without water. Both tastes wonderful. Enjoying chilled is also delicious, but not a must.
  4. This fruit juice can be used to make a delicious fruit pudding with pudding powder or starch (see recipe for elderflower pudding).

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
