Instructions

  1. My wife and I love a well-made farmer`s breakfast. Unfortunately, many are always afraid that turning the eggs will not go well. I`ll show you my variant, it always works.
  2. First I cut the potatoes from the day before into small slices or cubes. Take a non-stick frying pan and melt butter-flavored plant cream in it over medium-high heat. When the fat is hot, the potatoes come in and I let them sizzle. During this time I cut the bacon into small pieces and dice the onion and 1 pickle.
  3. While the potatoes are frying, I put 5 eggs and the milk in my shaker as well as a pinch of salt, pepper and chives and shake everything well.
  4. When the potatoes have turned a light brown roast color at the bottom, I turn them over.
  5. I add the bacon and onions and let everything continue to sizzle. I reduce the temperature to medium and sprinkle the diced pickles on top. I swerve well so that everything is well distributed. I heat the oven on the grill 250 °.
  6. I move the potatoes to one side in the pan and spread the halved cherry tomatoes on top, leaving a little space on the edge so that the egg can close around the potatoes and now pour the eggs over the potatoes and onto the empty side of the pan.
  7. I put the pan with the potato side halfway on the stove, because the egg takes longer to cook through. When the egg slowly stalls, I carefully remove it from the edge. Then I lift the side with the egg, it must still be liquid at the top and baked at the bottom, over the potatoes. It may be that it doesn`t work as a whole, don`t get angry, just give it up. Now make sure that it doesn`t burn at the bottom.
  8. When the egg starts to harden at the top, I put the pan in the oven and let the grill continue to harden. Preferably on the middle rail. When the egg has reached the desired degree of browning, I take the pan out of the oven with a pot holder, wait a short moment, sprinkle the remaining chives over it, halve the remaining 4 pickles and serve.
