Instructions

  1. Put the wheat flour with rye flour, vinegar, olive oil, honey and salt in a mixing bowl. Briefly stir the yeast with the water, add to the mixing bowl and knead everything into a dough. Possibly add a little lukewarm water if the dough is too dry.
  2. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C (convection).
  3. Knead the dough again briefly by hand, dust with flour and shape into a loaf on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the bread for about 40 minutes.
  4. Tip: Put a small bowl of water in the oven, then the base will be really crispy.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
