Ingredients
- 8 slices puff pastry (frozen)
- Flour for the work surface
- 8 slices smoked pork, cut approx. 1/2 cm thick
- 8 slices processed cheese (Chester or toast)
- 1 egg (s), separated
- possibly milk or cream

- Let the puff pastry thaw for 15 minutes, then roll out each slice into a square on flour, place a slice of Chester or toast cheese in the middle, then a slice of smoked pork chops. Brush the edges with egg white and fold over the Kassler.
- Turn over and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Brush with egg yolk (possibly mixed with milk or cream).
- Preheat the oven to 200 ° C (top / bottom heat) and bake the pork pies for about 25 minutes. Sauerkraut or a fresh green salad tastes good with it.
