Ingredients

  • 200 ml water
  • 50 g cashew nuts
  • 4 tablespoon yeast flakes
  • 3 tablespoon white wine vinegar, vegan
  • 2 tablespoon tapioca flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ miso paste, white
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ turmeric

Instructions

  1. Grind the cashew nuts, then mix together with the remaining ingredients in a blender to a smooth mass.
  2. Boil the mixture in a small saucepan until it thickens. Whilst doing this, stir with a whisk or a ladle so that the mixture does not stick. When the mass is thick and begins to pull strings, it can be removed from the stove.
